Do Acupuncture Needles Hurt?
When people ask is acupuncture painful, they are usually thinking about the needles. Acupuncture needles are hair-thin. Our skilled practitioners are trained to insert the needles with a refined technique that is barely felt when inserted. Needles are placed using your breathing as a guide. If you do feel discomfort or pain after a needle is inserted, it will quickly be removed. Pain isn’t something that should be felt during treatment.
